A Tennessee general power of attorney form is used to select a person who can handle financial acts on another’s behalf. This power of attorney is not “durable” and therefore will be void upon the incapacity of the principal. Signing Requirements – No statutory signing requirement. The principal is advised to sign the document in the presence of a notary public or two witnesses.
