A Utah general power of attorney form permits an individual, known as a “principal,” to choose someone they can trust to handle any and all financial activity related to their business, investment, and personal affairs. When choosing a representative, the principal should appoint someone who will act in their best interests and to their benefit only. The person selected will have the unlimited restriction and ability to act on the principal’s behalf, and the form can only be terminated upon the principal’s death, incapacitation, or the authorizing of a revocation form.
