A Texas living will is a legal document instructing medical practitioners to administer, withhold, or withdraw life-sustaining treatment for a patient who is terminal or otherwise facing imminent death. Any competent adult can execute a living will for use if they ever end up in the aforementioned condition. The patient can also use a living will to designate another person to make medical decisions on their behalf.
