An Idaho durable power of attorney can be used to elect a representative to make financial decisions on behalf of an Idaho resident. The selected individual will be required to act in the principal’s best interest and perform tasks as they would imagine the principal would if possible. The durable nature of the form enables the agent to operate even after the principal becomes incapacitated. This gives the principal the security of knowing that their estate will be in good hands should they lose decisional capacity.
