A Michigan living will is a written statement explaining end-of-life care wishes to medical practitioners and loved ones of a terminally ill or permanently unconscious patient. Michigan state legal codes don’t address living wills. However, the state does recommend using the Five Wishes Advance Care Planning Program for this purpose.
