A North Dakota general power of attorney form grants general financial powers to an attorney-in-fact in regard to a principal’s finances. This position is often reserved for a relative, close friend, or trusted associate as they will be dealing with important matters such as asset and property management, banking transactions, and business affairs. This power of attorney document is not durable and becomes void upon the principal’s incapacitation.
